There are three variety’s of collars to accommodate various degrees of plucking and plucking patterns: Cone Collars, Regular Neck Wraps and Extra Wide/Extra Thick Padded Neck Wraps (NEW) : I am here to discuss your needs and together we can come up with the correct collar and method of detouring feather destruction. I am not an avian vet, (by the way, I highly recommend a vet visit to check it there are health issues causing the plucking/chewing.) but I will do everything in my power to help you figure out the hows, whys, and so forth of your babies issues. Including, forwarding you to someone, or guiding you to information that can help you. Cone Collars are effective for : • Providing maximum eyesight range for the bird • Rotating with other collars to provide variety and protection Neck Wraps with fringe are effective for : • Wearing under collars to raise the collar off the wings • Used together with other collars to prevent picking on/under the wings • To be worn above others collar for extra protection if the bird has figured out how to remove collars • Used by itself for neck pickers A combination of Cone Collars and Neckwraps are effective for: • Rotating to provide variety and protection • Used together to prevent picking on/under the wings Disclaimers: Your parrot will not be able to fly with the collars on. These items are special order and non refundable. Every collar and neckwrap are hand made. Snaps are manually placed on all items that are ordered with snaps. The compression of the snaps can move snap location and that cannot be prevented, you may see some allignments that you would not expect to be. This is not a flaw in the design of function of the item ordered.
